For centuries, the wellington boot has served almost every job in the field and trusted for its level of protection against weather, hygiene, and safety hazards. The beloved tall shaft protects the feet from mud up to 12” inches tall, and the lightweight traction outsole allows easy cleaning after work. By staying true to its roots, we’ve honed this classic style by assembling the wellington with our finest leathers, while paying close attention to the smallest detail. By enhancing this boot’s easy on and off capabilities, durable leather pull-on tabs are sewn on the sides for quicker wear.

Oil-Tanned Full Grain Leathers make this wellington work boot extra special. The tight grain pattern on this work boot is superior at resisting moisture and protecting your feet from the elements. The essence of Oil-Tanned Leathers allows for natural markings and slight variations which make each pair truly one of a kind.

The 1238 Wellington is then combined with our signature Polyurethane Wedge Pro outsoles. This foamed structure contains tiny air bubbles which make the material lightweight, flexible, and shock-absorbing. Wedge Soles have been cherished by farmers and construction workers for years. Not only are the soles lightweight and easy to clean, but they also have a very important safety aspect. The tread pattern on the Wedge Soles is most crucial for today’s Iron Workers and Pavers. Unlike the tread on Lugged Sole boots, Wedge Soles allow Iron Workers to walk freely without worrying of tripping over a rivet or getting their heel caught on a part. For Pavers, asphalt and concrete will less likely be stuck in the grooves, which can damage the integrity of the boot's traction.
